I thought you would like to know this:
1. women prefer chicken but men prefer goat. The decision is based on the "responsibility over an animal that might destroy other people's machambas"
2. People said they only need 1 couple of each species and then they make them procreate and develop the business
3. They are ready to get loans (and pay back!) for this
4. They say that the difference between small scale animal farms and large scale is the costs: going above small scale implies ownership, energy, costs... Maybe we can start with small scale
5. There is already a bicycle garage in Vinho!
6. The school is planning to teach the children about machambas and planting trees with them during their holidays. I'm joining in with health seminars and hip-hop classes.
